After completing this course,

  • Students can opt for working as an Assistant Nurse, Home Care Assistant or Personal Care Worker for the disabled.
  • Community House Worker.
  • Serve as a Disability Service Officer (depends on other factors like area and jurisdiction).

These are the Eligibility factors for a Certificate III in Individual Support:

  • Excellent communication skills with English as the primary language and have an IELTS score of 5.5 or pass an English Exam conducted by the institution(only for International students).
  • Minimum of 16 years for Australian Students and 20 years for International Students with a minimum of 10-year schooling.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of internet searching.
  • Currently have a National Police Clearance or apply for one to get a career in Disability Care.

The course duration for an Individual Support Certification in disability is 6 Months and it comprises both on-campus and online study modes for both Domestic Australian and Other International Students.
