  • Excellent understanding of English, both written and oral and a high school passing certificate (Grade X).
  • The minimum age for application is 18 years.
  • Certification in Reading and Writing Skills (L)

  • Certification in Numeracy and Mathematics skills (N)

There are a total of 13 units in this course program, consisting of 7 core units and 6 elective units. All the electives from Group B must be chosen for the acute care specialty, and there must be 2 units from any accredited course or endorsed training package relevant to healthcare workers.

However, course enrollees are required to complete training of at least 1200 Hours consisting of guided learning, assessments, individual study duration and work placement. Going practically towards it, the course program takes about a year to complete.
